Memoirs of a Lonely Husband

by Jasper DeFranco

A husband’s honest account of loving someone through depression and addiction.
When the person you love is drowning, how long do you keep holding on?
In this raw and personal memoir, retired California law enforcement officer Jasper DeFranco shares what it was like to watch depression and addiction slowly take over his marriage — and how that illness eventually spread to him as well.
This is the story of the spouse who stayed. Written for anyone who has ever felt alone while standing beside someone they love.
